Have any new, healthy, simple dinner ideas? I am out of material!?
I tend to make the same 10 dinners over and over and need some new material. Love it to be somewhat healthy, be high in protein, and able to be made in a big batch to keep in the fridge for leftovers.
Here is what i already make on a regular basis...what else can i add to my repertoire?:
Meatloaf and roasted veggies
Shepard's pie
Pasta w/ meat sauce
chicken or steak and veggies
pasta and bean soup
baked zitti w/ sausage and roasted veggies
quiche
risotto
tacos
ribs, baked beans and corn
and, that is all i got...
I like simple recipes that use a lot of fresh ingredients. Not really into casseroles that use canned soup or anything.
Any new creative, healthy ideas?
I don't need recipes, just dish suggestions. Like, "try Chicken pot pie". I can look up the recipes.

i actually got the recipe from a magazine and tried it, lost 11 lbs in 4 days..... and its really good....
hard to explain but heres the recipe anyway
SOUTHWESTERN SOUP/ STEW
1 pound ground beef
•1 cup coarsely chopped onion
•2 garlic cloves, minced
•2 (16-oz.) cans light red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
•1 (15-oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained
•2 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes undrained
•1 (14-oz.) can beef broth OR 1 BEEF CUBE
•2 cups frozen corn
•1 (envelope taco seasoning mix
•1/4 teaspoon salt
•1/4 teaspoon pepper
•2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1. Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring often, 10 to 12 minutes or until meat crumbles and is no longer pink and onion is softened; drain.
2. Stir in kidney beans, next 8 ingredients, and 4 cups water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stir in cilantro just before serving. Serve with desired toppings.
