does anyone know a very good coffee machine that tastes great?
i want to buy a good coffee machine that has really nice coffee, yet i have only found one called a rio coffee machine and i think it is just for shops yet the coffee is fantastic. any recomendations please?
I figure most coffee machines will have either a metalic or plastic taste, so I guess it's all down to personal choice at the end of the day.
However, it seems silly splashing out for a coffee machine unless you're going to put it to its intended use. So, for anyone out there who is looking to buy a coffee machine because they LIKE coffee...
...All coffee machines worth their weight required ground coffee - which is completely different to that horrid abomination known as Instant Coffee. Ground coffee often costs less than Instant Coffee (check your larger supermarket shelves, like ASDA and you'll see).
However more and more stores also stock coffee beans these days (ASDA are doing their own brand of 227g for £1 right now). Coffee beans, though, need to be ground - so you'll need a grinder. And this is the route I suggest because it opens up a whole host of bean varieties that smell and taste absolutely incredible. (Give arabica beans a shot.)
So, grab a regular coffee maker with a decent capacity, a coffee grinder, a bag of demara sugar, and creamer, then track down that nice little Polish man who runs the coffee bean stall in your local indoor market.
(Hmmm... do Starbucks sell weighed coffee beans in the UK?)
