Do you ever worry that the live's of North Americans are too extravagant?
I don't mean to say we're all millionaires, but do you ever feel like we use waaaaaaaay too much of our natural resources just so we can continue our disposable way of life?
I'm referring to waste such as stir sticks, single use coffee cups, plastic shopping bags, EVERYTHING edible coming in single use, disposable plastic or paper containers.
yes, Yes and YES we are extremely wasteful! That's why in the environmental adage "reduce, reuse, and recycle" they stress REDUCE!! Most of us could reduce the amount of products we use and waste we produce, but that would hurt the economy . . . which is intertwined with our wastefulness.
