I'm seeing if "homemade" organic fertilizer made of food waste could substitue for commercial fertilizer.
It's winter so, I'm planting my radishes inside.
I'm using bananas for potassium
beans for nitrogen
and mushrooms for phosporous

and maybe coffee grounds as SEPARATE experiment

I have a question about my "homemade" fertilizer. Since plants need 3 primary nutrients, I don't know what the ratio for the 3 primary nutrients should be? Should they all be the same?

How often should I apply my homemade one? How much should I apply each time?

I wasn't sure about this because the commercial one comes with directions so....

About the coffee grounds...
are coffee grounds the moist thing after you make the coffee or is it the thing before I make coffee?
How much would I apply? How often?

What you are doing is basically making a small compost. Remember that the nutrients will no be released until the compost breaks down (begins to rot) so don't expect overnight success.
As for when/how much to apply, How about giving it a good whirl in a food processor and then mixing it with the soil. This will help the compost break down.
.. The Coffee grounds you need to use are after the coffee has been brewed, yes the icky wet stuff. My wife uses them on her rose bushes.
