Recommend a Salt Mill?
Can anyone recommend a Salt Mill to me? I bought one a few months ago, just a cheap manual wooden one from a big supermarket. It's now stoped working and is absolutely rubbish. It gives white plastic shavings instead of salt.
I am thinking of now getting a stainless steel one with ceramic grinder and possibly battery powered (rechargeable).
Can anyone recommend a salt mill to me that does a good job and will last a long time? But is also good value? (I don't need a pepper mill).
I swear by "Olde Thompson". I have two sets (pepper grinder and salt shaker), they are both easily over 15 years old, and still work like new! I also inherited a salt grinder from my grandmother, and it still works like a charm after years of heavy use.
