How do I clean the heating plate on a coffee maker?
I have a drip coffee maker with brown built-up crud caked on the heating plate (beneath the glass carafe). What's the best way to get rid of the crud?
I absolutely love Lysol All Purpose disenfectant Spray (lemon scent). Have it in each bath and in the kitchen. Works beautifully on everything and smells yummy besides.
With some old dampened rags, perhaps a scrubber sponge, you could virtually wipe off the crud pronto.
