Keurig offers three models of coffee makers each for the home and office, with a seventh "hybrid" model for either location. So the dilemma is which Keurig Coffee Maker to choose, which one should you pick? For the home models, it all depends on your budget and the specific features you desire. The introductory Elite B40 is undoubtedly the best home Keurig coffee makers for those with a budget. It only costs $99.95 and comes with two brew sizes(9.25oz&7.25oz), a removable 48oz. water reservoir, removable dip tray, free 18 K-Cup variety pack of coffee(we will discuss more about the patented K-Cups later), and free shipping. The next two home models(The Special Edition B60&Platinum B70) are priced at $149.95 and $199.95 respectively, and come with the same features as the B40. Added features include three brew sizes, a programmable LCD message center(both B60&B70), and chrome accents(both B60&B70) for the B60, and four brew sizes and an increased removable 60oz water reservoir for the B70. What I have, and what I recommend is the SE B60, but then again I'm just a middle of the road guy. Let's not forget all these coffee makers can also be used to brew tea, hot cocoa, or just plain hot water for foods like oatmeal.. It is extremely simple to use, and brews all exceptional hot beverages in under a minute.
The "hybrid" B100 brewer is approved for both home and office and comes with a price tag of $249.95. With the B100 you lose the added LCD and chrome features of the B60 and B70, and replace them with a Water Level Indicator and 64oz. water reservoir This is fine for a small office, however, I would rather pay less for a B60 and keep the sleeker chrome look, and programmable LCD message center. The three specific office models are the B140, B200, and B3000, and all respectively correlate with a small, medium, and large size office. The B140, for small offices resembles the features of the higher end home models. Plummable option is available for the B200, and the B3000 can only be used plumbed. Both the B200 and B2003 are vending compatible and can be charged at increments of 5 cents to it's users. In choosing the office model, go by the number of employees. One to 10 employees is ideal for the B140, 10 to 30 for the B200, and over 30 employee I suggest the B3000.
I mentioned above the patented K-cup technology that is the main feature of this Keurig coffee maker. What is a K-cup? Well, it's a sealed mini cup slightly larger than the milk&cream cups often seen in coffee houses and restaurants. One more thing, may I suggest you take care of your keurig like you would your expensive car. The Keurig Coffee Maker come with a one year warranty. However, follow their explicit, yet easy instructions and keep the heating elements and the water reservoir clean. This will definitely extend the life of beloved coffee maker.
