Fun, yummy workplace breakfast ideas?
Hi guys! I'm in charge of bringing in breakfast to work for the people in my cubicle area in a few days (each of us signed up to bring in breakfast on a particular day).
I have to supply breakfast for about 10-15 people. What are some good breakfast ideas that don't require a huge amount of planning yet is unique and fun (not to mention, yummy).
I don't want to bring in something boring and cliché like Starbucks coffee or bagels from Einsteins or something dumb like donuts. Anybody have any ideas?
ok.. here is an easy one.. get several (3 or 4) cans of refrigerated biscuits (not the flaky kind).. open the cans.. smash each biscuit, with your hand or a rolling pin.. dip each biscuit in butter and then cinnamon/sugar mix.. then layer them into a bundt pan.. bake at temp on biscuit can until they look done (puffy and slightly browned, may take a little longer than on package) then let cool for 5mins. then invert on a plate/platter.. wrap in foil and rush to office.. oh.. its called "monkey bread"
cinnamon/sugar mix = 1 tablespoon cinnamon + 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
want to make it fancy.. sprinkle nuts (pecan or walnut) in the bottom of the pan before adding the biscuits
serve with oj... yum yum
