Where does American coffee come from?

If Columbian coffee is made from coffee beans grown in Columbia, then where does Amercan coffee come from? Where are Folgers and Maxwell house beans from?

Coffee beans are grown in different countries and then shipped to the USA. Several manufacturers of American Coffee such as Folgers, Chase & Sanborn etc buy the Green Coffee Beans and blend different types of beans together. After they are blended the beans are roasted and then either ground into coffee or sold as whole beans.
In addition to the brands seen in stores commercial coffee houses make and sell their products to restaurants etc.
No coffee beans are grown in the USA but they are in South America, Brazil, Africa and many other countries.
