What should I do to help this crazy homeless lady?
I go to lunch everyday at paneras over at an outdoor mall across from where I work and I started seeing this crazy lady talking to herself, etc and hanging around the place, using the benches and just wandering in and out of the shops and cafes. I saw her in paneras trying to get a coffee refill (not sure if she wanted a free one or what) and when i left she was laying on a bench down the sidewalk. I live in orlando but it is chilly here today...she wasn't dressed the warmest...I almost went to y car to give her my fav jacket but then remembered I didn't bring it today...it warms back up tomorrow so a jacket wouldn't do...or maybe it would...I was thinking of giving her a $100 or something...I don't usually worry about homeless people but she kinda reminds me of my mom a little i think...suggestions?
You are going to get a lot of people on here to tell you not to give anything to her, that she would just use it for drugs, etc. My way of looking at it is like this: Give what you feel that you should. If she does something that she shouldn't do with the money, then that is her problem. At least you did what you felt in your heart was the right thing. That's just the way I look at things like that though...
