This model has a twenty four hour programmable function and has a Brew Pause feature that lets you get a cup before the brewing is done. There is a zero to four hour adjustable shut off feature. The separate grind chamber and filter chamber make for easy cleaning. The charcoal water filter removes impurities, especially important if you have well water. The ten cup carafe has an ergonomic handle, dripless spout and knuckle guard. Starting at under ninety ($89.99) dollars this model is an excellent house warming or bridal gift for the coffee lover.
There are several additional models with more features and larger capacities. The Cuisinart Burr Grind and Brew Thermal 12 cup Automatic Coffee maker (DGB-900BC) is available for just under two hundred ($199.99) dollars and has a thermal carafe to seal in the freshness and heat once brewed. Burr grinding is the best way to produce the best grounds and with the gold tone commercial permanent filter you do not have to worry about those wet messy paper filters any more. This model has a strength selector for strong, medium and mild blends and has an automatic shut off once it is done brewing. The model has an adjustable grind setting for two to twelve cups and a limited three year warranty.
